Senior Design Engineer | Permanent | $120K–$140K (negotiable)

Yoke Technologies is partnering with an established Australian engineering and manufacturing company. They need a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own projects end to end: concept → 3D model → workshop floor → finished product.

What you’ll do

  • Build complex SolidWorks models, assemblies, GD&T drawings and BOMs (managed in PDM)

  • Lead design projects from concept through manufacture, managing your own tasks and schedules

  • Design mechanical, structural and fabricated components and hydraulic systems

  • Work alongside fabrication to solve problems on the floor

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification

  • Expert SolidWorks 3D modelling and assemblies, advanced 2D drafting, GD&T

  • Proven experience designing complex fabricated equipment and mechanical assemblies

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes

  • A practical, detail-driven approach and strong communication skills
